Stocky shuts down for good on August 31, 2026. Before you look at a single replacement app, pull these five things. Some of it exports automatically. Most of it doesn't, and once it's gone, it's gone.
Migration Checklist
1. Purchase order history. Export it as CSV while access is still live. Shopify has said read-only access continues for a while after the shutdown to help with the transition, but don't wait to find out how long that window actually is.
2. Inventory reports. Same rule. Pull them now, while the export still works cleanly.
3. Supplier records. This is the one most retailers miss. Shopify's own guidance confirms suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky, so vendor contacts, negotiated terms, and lead times have to be documented by hand before the 31st. There's no export button coming to save you here.
4. Reorder points and logic. The reorder thresholds someone tuned after a stockout or a season of dead inventory live only in Stocky's settings. Write down the logic for your key SKUs now, not after it's overwritten by whatever replacement you pick.
5. Integrations and dashboards. Anything pulling reports or data from Stocky's API will break silently on August 31. Audit every connected tool before the cutover so a broken feed doesn't show up as an empty report three weeks from now.
Do this in order. Extraction first, tool selection second. Shopify's own transition checklist also recommends closing out open purchase orders about two weeks ahead of the deadline, so build that into your timeline too.
